Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully, your access to The Depot by Main Venues at 408 Main Street, New Prague (Herein known as “The Depot”) is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These terms apply to all visitors, users and all others who access The Depot.
The following policies are followed by The Depot in order to provide a comfortable and safe environment for you and your guests and to protect the historical integrity and personal property of The Depot. You agree to abide by these policies and to assist The Depot with the enforcement of these policies. The Depot feels that the enforcement of these policies is in the best interest of you, as the booking party for the event, and of The Depot as legal liability can extend to all of us.
Rental Fees and Cancellations
When you rent The Depot you rent the entire 3000 square feet for your event. You will be charged a damage deposit of $150. The damage deposit is due at the time of your booking and is required to hold your date; it will be returned within 15 days after your event providing that the premises isn’t damaged or sustained any damage or loss to objects, furniture or fixtures inside or outside The Depot property. The renter is responsible for any damage or loss to the premises during the entire time the space reserved. If the event is cancelled the damage deposit is fully refundable and the rental fee paid is fully refundable minus $50 up to 48 hours before the start of the reserved time. If the event is cancelled 48 hours or less before the start time of the event the 1/2 of the total rental fee will be refunded.
Amenities
Included in your rental fee is the use of tables and chairs in the banquet room, prep kitchenette, and our beautiful family style living areas and dining table. There is seating banquet style for up to 150 people and dining room family style for up to 14 – just like home.
We have a few highchairs available. There is limited street parking and additional public parking just east of the building.
Capacity

The maximum guest capacity is 150 guests. The Depot can accommodate 120 seated guests at banquet tables.
Minimum Age
The Depot requires the renter to be at least 23 at the time of the event; we reserve the right to verify age.
Food and Beverage
You are allowed to provide your own food and beverages. (if you chose to provide alcoholic beverages you must read and sign a separate alcohol policy) You may hire your choice of caterers. If you chose to hire a caterer you must provide The Depot with the caterer’s current license and insurance. If you chose to bring your own food there are ample outlets for crockpots or other electrical needs. The Depot provides refrigerators and a coffee pot for your use during the event. The Depot has ample space for food and beverages to be served. There are no appliances that can be used cooking food. The renter is responsible for bringing in already prepared food and beverages. The renter must provide their own dining and serving containers, plates and utensils. The Depot may have some of these things available for use; however the renter is responsible for washing and putting away anything that is used during the rental time. (please see event instructions displayed in the kitchenette at The Depot on proper dish washing)
Decorating Restrictions
There are a limited number of hooks available for use for decorating. Please use the provided stool (found in the storage room behind the kitchenette) to hang decorations from the hooks. Please do not stand or walk on furniture, tables or the kitchenette island. Glitter, confetti, rice, feathers or hay may not be thrown or used in any way in or around The Depot. No tape, nails, glue, pins or the like may be directly applied to or inside or outside of walls, ceiling, windows, doors, light fixtures or furniture.
There are no flames of any kind allowed on the premises. All candles must be flameless.
Scheduling
You agree to schedule your event with ample time to set-up and breakdown of any items you bring into the building. You agree to arrive promptly at the scheduled time (no refunds will be given for late arrivals) and you agree that you, your guests, outside vendors and any other agents vacate the premises at the end time of the scheduled event. In some instances, it may be possible to extend your event time based on availability and for an additional fee.
Coat and Storage
The Depot provides spaces to hang coats and storage for event supplies and/or materials but cannot be responsible for any lost or stolen articles.
Audio Visual
The Depot provides audiovisual equipment for your use but is not responsible for and will be unable to provide any technical assistance. You will not tamper with equipment to cause irreparable damage to any audiovisual equipment. The Depot has a residence on the second floor of the building, due to the structural integrity of the building “normal” event noise is not an issue. Our sound system is not designed to be increased to a level that is disturbing to the residents.
Set Up / Breakdown
You are responsible for setting up and breaking down any decorations, food items, displays or any other items you bring into The Depot unless you have contracted prior to your event to have our staff set up and breakdown for you.

Miscellaneous
All children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
Guests may not climb or stand on tables or chairs. Please use the stool provided.
The Depot cannot be responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen items brought to the event.
The renter is responsible to ensure that the behavior of their guests does not become disruptive or unruly. Absolutely no pets are allowed on the premises. If any complaints are received during the event of noise or other disruptive behavior the rental shall be held accountable and the damage deposit will not be returned.
Cancellations
The rental fee is refundable up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled event minus ½ of the rental fee or $50, whichever is less based on the number of scheduled hours for your event.
Access
The Building will be open and ready to go at the time of your scheduled event.
Theft and Damages
Guest(s) agree to be responsible for any damage or theft to The Depot, its furniture, fixtures, equipment and any other accessories by yourself, guests or any other agent utilized by the guest(s). Guests shall indemnify and hold harmless The Depot by Main Venues, and its assigns from and against any and all claims, suits, damages, liabilities, judgments, actions, including all attorneys’ fees to defend such actions for, bodily injury, illness and/or property damage, arising from the actions and/or omission of guest(s) or its attendees, agents, vendors, invitees or their guests. Guest(s) agrees to pay a damage deposit of $150.00 to Main Venues; should any damage described within this paragraph occur Main Venues will deduct the cost of any damages, thefts or losses and refund the balance to the guest(s)
Payment
Payment for event rental must be paid in full at least 24 hours prior to the start of your event. Payments can be made in cash or check in person, or check mailed to 504 Kennedy Ave. NW, New Prague, MN 56071. By Venmo @MainVenuesLLC-TheDepot or by using or credit card online at www.mainvenues.com.
